This cliff faces one of the northernmost point of Scotland, just in front of Orkney Islands. John O’groats is the village nearby, very traditional and not so busy! On March 2019 I was here alone, waiting hours in the car for the perfect moment without rain and wind. I am happy for the bit of luck I got when I was traveling through this area.

This stunning waterfall is located in the highlands of Iceland, quite close to the city of Húsavik. The river is the longest of Iceland and in this point it has a drop of almost 20 meters into a raw and rough landscape of black basalt. This river flows into the Skjalfandi Bay, bringing a lot of nutrients for all the life that lives there, such as many species of Whales.

The north-western region of Iceland is where one of the most remote and northernmost villages in Iceland (Raufarhöfn) take place. Here is where this fantastic modern construction is built, inspired by an Icelandic poem and aligned with heaven. Not often you can see milky way and northern light at the same time. That has been unbelievable, especially in this place.

This project aim to show the connection between glaciers and the importances they have to shape the landscape. Glaciers nowadays are being affected by climate changes and it can be very negative for the animals that lives connected with such habitats. Different rivers in Iceland have huge importance for the food chain because they bring nutrients to the ocean and allow different species, as whales, to live because of that. Icelanders also believe that modern structures can taking the concept of 72 dwarves who represent the seasons in the world from the poem they are inspired, among other symbolic queues. In this time of the history humanity reached the hottest climate temperatures causing ice-melting. I want to show how different landscapes can be useful for animals and beautiful for the eyes just because the water shape it. Can you imagine a world without glaciers? This serie collect images taken from Italy to Iceland.

Mount Cook is the highest Mountain of New Zealand. It is in a Dark Sky Reserve, into the Mount Cook National Park. I wanted to take a picture of this Mount in another way I ever seen, so during the first night there I found the sky I was waiting by the first day I knew about New Zealand, that is lucky. To take this picture it was an adventure, because during the night (almost midnight) I went to the path to go to this spot, alone. Don’t worry, the most dangerous animal in New Zealand is Kiwi!
